Miko has an unexpected look and tries to rethink the concept of a western barbecue grill. First of all it deals with the fat-flame-burn that is very unhealthy and happens always as soon as fat drips down onto the charcoal. Furthermore it is semi-portable and should increase the social happening by sitting around the grill, cooking together land eating directly from the grill.
The grid is the most important improvement. It is inspired by Korean table barbecue. Generally these systems use curved massive plates to grill meat on. The fat runs down the grid and is gathered together for other use. Through a curved grid the fat doesn‘t drop into the fire which positively avoids the fat flame burn through a simple intervention.
