    porcelain

The starting point of this project was to find an attractive solution for specific campus situations. In a university the cafeteria is after the classrooms probably the most important meeting point and social platform. But first of all students go there to eat their lunch. This concept deals with the difficulties of transportation and keeping hot food.

Students also have to deal with money issues what means that they sometimes prefer to prepare their own meals. This behaviour is mostly seen in creative schools where people work after opening hours in their ateliers. By including this habit into the product we developed a set of porcelain that is multifunctional, compact and easy to carry. The main plate can be used as a normal menu plate but also as a big salad bowl. The small container can be used for any kind of side dish. The wooden part is a tablet as well as a lid.
